Dr. Shu Chi Chuang
Dr. Chuang was immersed in the world of traditional Chinese medicine from a young age, as her father owned a Chinese herbal medicine shop. She displayed a natural talent in herbal medicine, which ultimately led to her becoming Taiwan's first female practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine. However, Dr. Chuang's life was not without its challenges. By age 25, she lost both her father and husband to cancer, leaving her with five young children and her sick mother. But despite the many setbacks, these experiences ultimately shaped this resilient woman into an expert in preventative healthcare and women's wellness.

During her time studying in Japan, Dr. Chuang discovered that many female patients had overlooked the importance of menstruation, pregnancy (postpartum recovery), and menopause in a woman’s life. Dr. Chuang therefore made it her goal to help women in Taiwan avoid these pitfalls, emphasizing the importance of early adoption of correct lifestyles and diet to live a healthy life.
My friends say I look younger than my age!
Dr. Jin Funn Chuang
When Dr. Jin Funn Chuang gave birth to her eldest daughter in New York, her mother, Dr. Shu Chi Chuang, and grandmother brought herbal concoctions for soups, sesame oil, and rice wine to help her with postpartum recovery. Experiencing the postpartum methods created and guided by her mother Dr. Shu Chi Chuang, Dr. Chuang maintains a fit physique and abundant energy. Her physical well-being brings her joy, a positive attitude, and an optimistic outlook.
Dr. Shu Chi Chuang founded the "Windmill Healthcare Group" in 1995 and entrusted Dr. Chuang to oversee it, supporting more women in need of postpartum care. By following in her mother's footsteps into the medical profession, she has carried on the legacy of her mother's profound and extensive knowledge and experience through her top-selling publications and lectures.

Reinterpreting Postpartum Care with a Modern Perspective!
Dr. Alexander Keh, MD
Dr. Alexander Keh and Dr. Jin Funn Chuang have served as the co-founders of "Windmill Women's Health Management Institute" for many years. Recognizing the profound role of women in fostering happiness and well-being within a family, they have chosen to serve women as their primary focus. Dr. Keh firmly believes that the postpartum recovery period is the most crucial physiological transition in a woman's life, making it the best possible time to for a woman to optimize her physical well-being and ensure lifelong health.
Dr. Keh emphasizes that although postpartum recovery is deeply rooted in Chinese tradition, the proper methods are not universally understood. Incorrect practices can actually inflict harm upon the mother's physical well-being instead of bringing benefits. Furthermore, disagreements resulting from generational differences can significantly impact the postpartum mother’s emotional state, consequently affecting her healing process.
To address this challenge, Windmill Wellness has developed a series of recipes specifically tailored for postpartum recovery, incorporating the strengths of both Chinese and Western medicine. Windmill Wellness educates women on the most suitable methods for modern postpartum care and elucidates the contradictions between traditional and modern medicine, allowing women to gain the deepest and most profound knowledge about postpartum care.
Dr. Keh firmly believes in the interplay between the body, nature, food, and emotions. Based on this this philosophy, Windmill Wellness constantly reminds each woman undergoing postpartum recovery to relax her mind, for only then can she fully benefit from the nutrients she consumes and truly eat healthily!
