"A Century of Wisdom, a Lifetime of Beauty"
Beauty & Heritage
Formerly the exclusive health consultant to Empress Michiko of Japan, Dr. Shu Chi Chuang was the first woman to be registered as a Chinese medicine practitioner in Taiwan, as well as a devoted mother.
Despite hailing from a medical family, her closest loved ones still suffered from cancer; both her father and husband tragically succumbed to the disease at a young age. Nevertheless, these calamities did not break the spirit of this resilient mother. Instead, she raised her children as a single mother and even later obtained a medical doctorate in Japan. She dedicated herself to advocating a preventive approach to healthcare, becoming a beacon of cancer prevention.
